The stripped invaders.

WALT: Identify key words and summarise the paragraph. 

In our reading session this week, we read the the school journal story, The Stripped Invaders.

Here is my summary of the story. The queen makes a nest from a old rat nest for her family. If she hibernates in a good spot she will not get eating if its a bad spot she will get eaten by a rat a bird. How she makes a nest, she used her saliva and wood or bark. The queen will fight to the death with the other queens. The rats will eat the yough nest. A scientists have found up to six dead queens.

What is a key word? A key word is some thing that describes a word.

How were key words used in the story? good because they used a lot of key words. They made them bolder.

City of Ember - Chapter 5

This week in room five we read chapter 5 of the City of Ember. During this chapter I learnt how Poppy likes to do piggy back rides. Lena brought some coloured pencils for five dollars each. Poppy got lost and Doon found her and gave her back to Lena when the lights came back on.
